Day 92. #FailWhale
Another day of making things. I decided after our epic band meeting (chronicled elsewhere,maybe) that I should get to work on a logo, even though Dan’s capable of this kind of thing. My hubris elected me to do it.
So, during the day, while I apparently broke Twitter:
Probably not me, but it was the first official failwhale I had seen. I felt happy to be responsible, even though I wasn’t.
I had made a little bit of a logo the night before:
I know, right? How much more dead and bland could it be? Improvements had to be made. Inspiration had to be found, otherwise, the actually very well done and fully functional logo that Dan had sent over (despite the fact that I thought it looked “too cowboy”) would be the one. Not that it would be a bad thing, but my hubris demanded I make something epic. Clearly, the above was not epic. Not even close.
My next try yielded this:
Sill not epic enough, but … I like the stairs motif. The staggering of the letters I also like, but I think it needs to be a bit cleaner. Hrm. Time will tell.
